I have a friend who has an almost complete set of haviland arcardia with the bird on it. It was given to her great grandmother on her wedding day. That was back in 1844. This is the history that went along with the set of dishes as it was handed down in the family. Recently I acquired some of these plates at an auction. They are incredible and very old. AND very very hard to find.
