: DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO MADE OLD PARIS CHINA, I WORK FOR A HISTORIC HOUSE AND WE HAVE A LARGE SET FROM 1844. WE KNOW THAT IT CAME FROM PARIS THROUGH NEW ORLEANS. ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT. THANKS. RANDY

I was just in Louisana and saw alot of Old China pieces. Evidently one of the towns (Natchez) specializes in it and they seem to have antique shops there that buy it. From what they told us, Old Paris China is never marked, made in the early/mid 1800's in older china shops of Paris. It became quite prevelant in Louisana because Plantation owners ordered it customed made to match their decorating. I would love to own a set....but they are hard to find.
