Most of my china has the markings to show the age at 1879-1889. But some pieces don't show any of the "standard" markings. These pieces are slightly heavier and the edges slightly more rounded. On the back there is a thin, faint, capital W cut into the clay. In addition, each of these pieces will have another mark, cut more deeply...sometimes a V, sometimes a 3 (or an M), sometimes two little lines 1/4 inch long. Can anyone tell me more about these pieces?
