I inherited a set of 12 fish plates that are gold on the outer edges with flowers and scalloped edges and shell imprints. There are 6 different fish in the center of the plates. Each one has a number on the bottom of the plate. i.e. 1778 FG 81... and one plate has the stamp of LS&S, Carlsbad, Austria. An appraiser said that they were Haviland blanks. The plates are all about 6" in diameter. Can anyone tell me more about these plates? I would be interested in selling them.
