I have a friend who has an old set of Theodore Haviland French Limoges. I am trying to help her get information to sell her china. I noticed that the stamp on the back of her dishes has "patent applied for". I have not seen this displayed on any of the stamps shown. Does this have any impact on the value of her dishes? Is this a good thing or what?
