: : I have a 12 setting/6 pc set of Johann Haviland with the addl serving pieces (gravy boat, sugar with lid, creamer, vegetable bowl and serving platter). It bears a "pink rose" unlike any other I have found surfing. Also a "gold" trim around the edges of all pieces. The 6 pieces consist of: dinner plate, bread/butter plate; very small dish , soup bowl, tea cup and saucer.

: : These were my Mom's (1927) and there is no one to assist me in it's origins or history. How can I identify the pattern and any value? I am looking to sell them.

: : Regards, Lucinda Burgess, NJ

: I just got onto this website, and am trying to find any info on Johann Haviland, my set is large, it has a silver trim, and all the info I have found on Haviland China has nothing about Johann, also, mine says Bavaria, Germany, does yours? I'm beginning to think mine is a reproduction??? Could you tell me all you know. Thanks, i was so excited to see a reference to johann,
