The Haviland Company backmark H& Co over L over France is in the period 1876-1889.

to have their Company mark put on the Haviland they ordered and sold.

is a known backmark and retailer who sold Haviland.
So originally this set of Haviland was sold by Arthur Kay company in Kentucky.
