Thanks to Haviland Online, Cathy Grammer-Margolin, and the public library, I now have a positive id on my mother's heirloom Haviland China. She has 74 pieces of Schleiger #86 (Factory #4047)in the Marseille pattern blank (Schleiger No. 9). The backer is Mark H (1888-1896). The red decorative backer looks like Mark d with the retailer "For ARTHUR KAYE Louisville Ky". For estate purposes I am required to obtain an appraisal. Can anyone tell me the options, links or provide any direction in getting an appraisal?
