Hi
I acquired a Castleton service plate made for the commissioner general of the US pavilion at the World´s Fair Brussels 1958. It has a gold-ground rim with a print which looks like the presidential seal. As being the commissioner general was a high-ranking position, I can imagine that he received this plate in order of president Eisenhower himself.
I have two questions.
1. I learned that a Castleton service plate made for President Eisenhower is listed on page 162 of Margaret Brown Klapthor´s book White House China. Could anyone send me a scan of that picture.
2. Does anyone know how I could contact Margaret Brown Klapthor for her opinion on this particular plate.
