: Hello, I just recieved a 13 inch platter marked Traditions fine China Johann Haviland China corporation, I have another platter that's the same thing, yet it's marked Johann Haviland Bavaria Germany. What is the difference and which is worth more?? Thanks, Kristen

Tradions collections is made in Thailand (ie: Blue Garland) still made today...older Johann Haviland Bavaria Germany markings was done after 1924 because the oldest markings come from 1907-1924 when Johann owned the company but sold to Richard-Ginoro Italy in 1924. Then he re-sold to The Rosenthal Group of Germany. :)
