: When I was about 5 my grandmother bought me a complete set of this. Also, when I was about 12, my other grandmother gave me her used set. I remember being 5 and picking this style out w/my previously mentioned grandmother. For both of them to have had it, it must of been a popular style. So basically I have two sets. I am sure some pieces are broke or missing by now (I haven't really used it just kept it boxed but we have moved a lot). Is it worth anything? The really funny part is, that we have been living in Germany for a year and will be here 3 more years. Wish I knew more about China. OH well. Thanks!
Blue Garland flooded the market in the "70"'s and is still produced today by Tradions Fine China out of Thailand If you go to e-Bay you will see how many people are selling this pattern...It is by far the best known pattern by Johann Haviland. Also go to repalcements.com and punch in the button named neat things and you will see History of Blue Garland completely. :) :August back issue.
