This Platter is unlike any Haviland we have seen and belonged to my wife's great great grandmother it is roughly 9 1/2" x 14". It appears to be a hand painted piece. The back of the platter clearly indicates it is Haviland with the H&Co/L symbol. the symbol B - 14 is indented into the back and it is signed Rowe 87.
Can anyone tell us something about this platter? who is Rowe? Any information would be appreciated.
